For the first time since the 1970’s, Wondai Rifle Club held a night shoot at the South Burnett Shooting Complex on Saturday 8th October 2022. This was a members only event as it was a test run to iron out the format of the proposed night shoots moving forward, with a good turnout by the members that were able to come. A lot of effort by a lot of club members went into making sure this was possible, so a big thank you to those members! Also a big thank you to QRA president Andrew McKillop for suggesting we revive night shoots, and coming out to Wondai to participate with us for out inaugural revived night shoot. Thankfully it was a full moon that night which gave us a bit of extra light. We intend to include night shoots throughout the year moving forward, so we hope to see you all there in the future!
